He began his career at KCBS-TV Channel 2 in Los Angeles, working under the tutelage of Emmy Award-winning sportscasters, Jim Hill and Roy Firestone. From there, he held public relations staff positions with Hollywood Park Racetrack and the Los Angeles Raiders. While at Hollywood Park, he learned much of his on-the-job training from the late Jerry Wilcox who, for 18 years, was the Director of Publicity for the Los Angeles Rams.
The public relations veteran then broadened his career as well as his media contact base with positions at the highly esteemed public relations firms of Rogers and Cowan, Mahoney/Wasserman and The Robbins Group. Over the years, Feldman was directly responsible for publicity generated around such accounts as Centinela Hospital, Hilton Nevada Corporation, the City of Palm Springs, AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, ULTRA Slim Fast, Tommy Lasorda, St. John’s Hospital, Top Rank Boxing, National Football League halftime show, Noritz America, Drinkables, David August, Inc. and Legacy Group Construction. He also served as the Director of Publicity for the AVP/Miller Lite pro beach volleyball tour and the Virginia Slims of Los Angeles women’s tennis tournament.
Feldman has not only earned the respect and appreciation of some of the finest media representatives in Los Angeles, but he is held in high esteem on a national level as well. He continues to work closely with all facets of the media, guaranteeing satisfaction and unparalleled results for his clients.
A graduate of California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, Feldman has been a published freelance sports/golf journalist for nearly 30 years in such publications as Palm Springs Life, Sports Profiles and Golf Tips, to name a few. He currently contributes a regular travel/destination column for Golf Vacations Magazine.
Feldman, 49, is married to his beautiful and talented wife, Heather, and has an eight-year-old son, Daniel. He is an avid golfer, skier and part-time hockey player. He is the coach of nearly every sport his son participates in each year.
